Responsibilities :

• Operating, maintaining, and repair of ammonia based refrigeration systems

• Follow Preventative Maintenance schedule and tasks

• Troubleshooting various problems and scenarios on a daily basis

• Interest in energy efficiency with relation to the operation of refrigeration systems

Qualifications :

• Refrigeration apprentice

• Must be willing to obtain 2nd class refrigeration plant operator certification

• Ammonia experience an asset

• General computer skills (i.e word, excel, PM program (Maximo))

• Willing to work flexible hours due to call ins

• Desire to pursue continuing education in the operation and maintenance of ammonia refrigeration systems

• Troubleshooting abilities, able to work well with others in a team environment
