We are looking for a Human Resource Coordinator to join our team of nine in Delta to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources department.

What We Offer

Schedule: Monday – Friday, business hours with flexibility (4 days in office, 1 remote)

Benefits: The compensation package for this position ranges from $48,000 to $61,000 on an annual basis. In addition:

What you would do

  • Process bi-weekly payroll using UKG, Workday, and HR systems

  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries regarding systems and payroll

  • Enters data into HR systems, maintain HR files and records, produces HR reports

  • Disability Claim Management

  • Support the HR Generalist with the Short-Term Disability process

  • Maintain accurate employee records for WorkSafe BC and Long-Term Disability claims

  • Works collaboratively with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers on recruitment needs

  • Respond to employee inquiries for managing flex benefits and RRSP through Workday and Manulife.

  • Support the HR team through the annual open enrollment process and benefits fair

  • Provide general HR support to leadership and employees, redirecting to HR Generalists when applicable.

  • Answer the HR phone line and oversee the BC Divisional phone list

  • Oversee and support on projects such as BC Scholarship Program, Service Awards Gold Club, Gordon Wear by Mark’s

Does this sound like you?

  • Post secondary education in HR and working towards CPHR designation

  • HR Experience preferred

  • Possess well-developed communication skills both written and verbal

  • Effective in the planning, prioritization, and timely execution of work

  • Embraces and creates change

  • Be recognized by the attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Have demonstrated an attitude that contributes to employee engagement and positive culture

  • Like to work as part of a team

  • Experience in a unionized environment – an asset
