We are seeking a highly motivated Division Merchandising Manager to spearhead the growth of our Center of Plate and Non-Food & Beverage categories and to execute product merchandising activities within the BC division, supporting established goals.

Working closely with the Regional Merchandising Manager, you will collaborate and communicate with key stakeholders across North American (NA) category teams, marketing teams, sales teams, and vendors to execute strategies that drive sales, margin, and brand goals. This role is critical for supporting strategic market share growth and product positioning by serving as the primary point of contact for the regional vendor/broker community. You will be responsible for developing, prioritizing, and executing best-in-class partnership strategies aligned with the company’s long-range plan and divisional objectives.

Location : the successful candidate should be able to commute to the Delta DC at least 4 days a week.

Duties and Responsibilities

Communication & Collaboration

  • Communicate regularly with category, merchandising, sales, and marketing teams to support business goals and KPIs.

  • Share timely updates on new items, discontinuations, pricing changes, and supply issues.

  • Act as a key liaison between division teams and Category Management.

  • Facilitate clear communication with internal teams, vendors, brokers, and customers.

  • Participate in ride-alongs and maintain open feedback loops to understand market needs.

Sales & Category Support

  • Execute North America category strategies at the divisional level.

  • Implement go-to-market plans aligned with division execution priorities.

Vendor & Broker Management

  • Serve as primary contact for local brokers and suppliers.

  • Lead business reviews and performance analysis of vendors and broker partners.

  • Align vendor strategies with divisional goals.

  • Maintain accurate vendor and broker activity in CRM systems.

Cost & Supply Chain Support

  • Provide divisional cost feedback to Category and Revenue Management teams.

  • Communicate supply disruptions and resolutions to sales and marketing teams.

  • Support inventory management, slot allocation compliance, and aging inventory reduction.

Professional Development

  • Maintain strong product and industry knowledge.

  • Leverage data, trends, and customer insights to inform decision-making.

  • Participate in ongoing learning and industry engagement.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Provide market insights, analytics, and recommendations to support volume and margin targets.

  • Support product lifecycle management (sourcing, launch, performance management, discontinuation).

  • Ensure divisional needs are represented in category strategy development.

Experience & Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

  • 3+ years of product/category or marketing experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

  • Strong knowledge of the local market and assigned product categories.
    Analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Google tools, and related platforms.

  • Solid financial acumen, including understanding of margin, pricing, and freight.

  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate across teams and with vendors.

  • SAP experience is an asset.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
