Position Summary:
Supports members of the Broadline Sales Team in the areas of customer service, computer reporting, analytics, event planning and administrative responsibilities.
Location:
The successful candidate should be able to commute to the Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg or Delta DC at least 4 days a week.

Essential Functions:
Coordinate, execute business review and presentation materials. Analyze all data to ensure consistency with contract (where applicable).
Serves as an information resource to Healthcare Sales Representatives, National Account Managers, Logistics, and Sales Support, and works collaboratively with the Healthcare Strategy Specialist.
Participate in new customer implementation process by attending weekly meetings and providing support in new customer setup. Responsible for the coordination of internal departments to support new customers.
Provide organization for Sales Team through the completion of assigned projects.
Coordinate the order guide process by creating customer item list support and maintaining customer item list.
Create standard and ad hoc reports to support sales using Business Objects. Analyze reports to ensure data integrity.
Coordinate and schedule meetings and events, such as conference calls, Go To Meetings, customer travel and GFS on-site arrangements.
Works directly with customers to resolve opportunities presented by the customer and GFS. (General inquiries, LTO’s, service & product issues).
Conduct general administrative activities such as answering phones, filing, answering and typing correspondence, technology needs, processing invoices, ordering office supplies and office support.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
High School / Equivalent requried
Associate Degree Business or related field preferred
Two to four years previous sales support experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Previous Administrative Assistant experience preferred.
Must have excellent written, verbal, organizational and communication skills as well as problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to use discretion and make sound judgments.
Ability to cope with stressful situations and maintain a calm and professional demeanor.
Must have the ability to multitask, prioritize and be able to work independently or within a team environment.
Must have good customer service and time management skills.
