454 g Haddock, skinned and pin bones out (Batter)
2 tbsp Trade East Lemon Pepper Seasoning (Batter)
3/4 c All Purpose Flour (Batter)
1/2 c Corn Starch (Batter)
1/4 tsp Baking Soda (Batter)
1/2 tsp Salt (Batter)
1 c Beer (Batter)
1 c Mayonaise (Lemon Pepper Tartar Sauce)
1 tbsp Trade East Seasoning (Lemon Pepper Tartar Sauce)
1 tbsp Capers, minced (Lemon Pepper Tartar Sauce)
1 tbsp Cornichons, minced (Lemon Pepper Tartar Sauce)
Recipe Preparation
Tartar Sauce
Add the mayo and Trade East Lemon Pepper Seasoning, cappers, and cornichons to a bowl, mix and hold for service.
Haddock
Incorporate in a bowl and mix the Trade East Lemon Pepper Seasoning, flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.
Whisk in the beer incorporating all the dry ingredients until the batter is formed.
Dip the patted dry haddock on the batter and fry at 350°F (176°C) until golden brown.
Sprinkle Trade East Lemon Pepper Seasoning and serve.
