Position: Transfer Driver (Team 7 – Kamloops)
Schedule: 4 x 10 | Sun, Mon, Thurs, Fri | Start time 6:00 PM
Pay: Starting rate of $34.89, with potential to go to a top rate of $40.75 per hour after completing 12 months
Position Overview
The Transfer Driver will be responsible for the delivery of trailers over established routes to be based out of Kamloops and back. The successful applicant will be compensated by the
daily contract rate.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Transfer Driver will be responsible for transferring the Kamloops and Delta trailers. The Transfer Driver is expected to operate the vehicle in a safe manner at all times, obeying all rules and regulations of the road, and following all appropriate company policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Valid Class 1 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
LCV Certification Required (In-house Training Provided for Successful Applicants)
(Min. 2 years of driving experience; Min. 150kms driven on a tractor trailer)
Eligibility for bonding and transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) certification
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent communication and time management skills
Safe operation of all equipment and Strong mechanical aptitude
A high-level of integrity and a strong work ethic, able to work with little supervision and be self directed
Professional demeanor under stressful situations
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to lift, load, push, pull and carry items up to 60 lbs
Professional demeanor and customer service focus
Ability to work independently as well as assist team members when necessary
High School Diploma or equivalent
No Formal written discipline
Availability for nights and weekends
