Position Summary:
Provides administrative HR support including onboarding assistance, benefits and wellness administration, communication, coordination of company events, and additional project support for HR.
Location:
The successful candidate should be able to commute to the Ajax DC
Essential Functions:
Enters data into HR systems, maintain HR files and records for employees, produces HR reports for leadership
Assists with coordinating details, logistics, communication and execution of various events including training, wellness, orientation, open enrollment, fairs, and other division HR events
Schedules meetings, assists with and directs incoming questions from employees
Supports various aspects of onboarding process which includes storing of documentation and processing new hire paperwork
Participates in planning and implementation of special projects related to payroll and employee records
Full-time reception coverage and duties associated.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
High School / Equivalent required
At least one year previous administrative experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Knowledge of human resources regulations and guidelines preferred.
Knowledge of and ability to apply human resources regulations and guidelines and maintain strict confidentiality
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Communication and interpersonal skills to respond to employee inquiries as well as time management skills
Knowledge of industry and payroll
Ability to solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures
Knowledge of Human Resource Regulations and guidelines.
Equipment / Tools / Technology:
Proficient knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, email, internet software
Knowledge of or ability to learn HRIS, applicant tracking software, Electronic Filing software and other GFS HR systems
