Hours Of Work:
ā Typically 40 hours/week, with the opportunity for overtime
ā Four (4) 10-hour days with 3 days off per week OR Three (3) 12-hour days with 4 days off per week
ā Shifts and Start Time:
Shift: 3X12 with rotation day every 3rd week| Floater| 4 AM To 4 PM

Starting rate of $32.76, Eligible to go to a top rate of $38.26 per hour after completing 12 months

What We Require:
Valid Class 1 driverās license with a clean commercial driverās abstract
Physically fit and able to repeatedly lift, stack, pull and carry heavy items (up to 80 lbs)
Strong communication and customer service skills with English fluency
Previous professional driving experience is preferred
Ability to work in a variety of weather, temperature and road conditions
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Must be goal-oriented with a positive, ācan doā attitude
This position requires punctuality and attention to detail
Responsibilities Include:
Providing exceptional service to build and maintain quality customer relationships
Manually sorting and unloading food products and hand-wheeling them into the customer locations with the use of ramps and occasionally stairs (approx. 600 – 1000 cases/shift)
Operating straight trucks or trailers safely and professionally to transport goods and materials over urban, short inter-urban and rural routes
Conducting routine pre/post-trip truck inspections and maintaining accurate records of delivery routes, temperature logs, count sheets and incident reporting
Performing product delivery verification at the customer location and maintaining customer invoices
Following health and safety and safe work procedures
