What you would do:
Execute Produce sourcing and fulfillment plans that enable category growth
Managing higher risk inventory, ensuring market relevance in portfolio and competitiveness utilizing the proper mix of sourcing solutions
Act as the primary supplier contact for inventory and supplier-related business needs
Ā Monitor KPIs related to Produce case growth, service level and product loss.Ā
Communicate directly with the sales team to help promote sales knowledge and growth within the category
Develop and maintain relationships with regional suppliers and suppliers key to the divisionĀ
Provide support to the sales and merchandising teams with product sourcing and opportunity buys
Does this sound like you?
5+Ā years of previous experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.Ā
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Related – an asset
Extensive Produce procurementĀ experience and product knowledge
Well-developed communication skills both written and verbal
Be recognized by the attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Have knowledge of principles and methods for moving goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits
Like to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment
Knowledge of Workday & Kronos experience (an asset)
