Subject: Fraud Alert – Unauthorized Bank Account Change Messages
We are issuing this alert to inform you of a recent fraudulent attempt detected by our organization. An unauthorized party is reportedly contacting clients via email or video, falsely claiming that an update or confirmation of remittance and payment information is required.
We have recently launched a new customer payment portal designed for invoice viewing and the configuration of various payment methods. Nevertheless, it is crucial to note that no alterations have been made to our official remittance collection procedures, banking details, or banking verification processes.
For your security, we recommend the following:
- Do not respond to any messages concerning changes to your account details unless the communication directly originates from an `@gfs.com` email address.
- Always verify payment information by contacting us through established official communication channels.
- Should you receive any suspicious emails or messages, please forward them to us or report the email to us on our website.
- GFS will never ask you for your username, password, or second factor authentication code.
