LOCATION: Sudbury

SHIFT: Sunday to Thursday

VARYING START TIME: Estimated 5:00pm to 7:00pm

Pay: Starting wage $31.11 per hour, with additional incentives

GORDON FOOD SERVICE, ONTARIO DIVISION IS A 24/7 OPERATION. THIS ROLE REQUIRES FLEXIBILITY TO WORK EVENINGS/WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS AND OVERTIME HOURS.

JOB SUMMARY

Make scheduled deliveries of trailers within delivery time frames.
Complete pre-trip inspection of truck and safely operate equipment.
Drive safely and in accordance with MTO and company regulations, as well as road conditions.
Complete pre-trip inspection of truck and safely operate equipment..
Start and end each day in Sudbury, Ontario!

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have an AZ license, clean abstract and CVOR within the last 30 days.
2 years of commercial AZ driving experience - Required
Must be able to effectively drive a manual transmission vehicle.
A strong customer service attitude, and enjoy interacting with various clients within the food industry.
B-Train, LCV and LTL experience an asset

WORKING CONDITIONS

Delivering outdoors in all seasonal weather.
Must be able to handle all types of food and beverage products including: seafood, beef, pork, produce, wine, nuts, spices, milk, eggs, etc.
