Ham & Cheese Khachapuri

Ingredients
- 6ea Tavolini Pizza Dough
- 1 cup Ham
- 2 cup Tavolini Muenster/mozzarella Blend
- 1 cup Tavolini Ricotta Cheese
- 2 ea Garlic, cloves
- ¼ cup Green Onion
- ¼ cup Parsley
- 2 tsp Six Pepper Blend
- 2 ea Egg
- 6 ea Egg, for khachapuri
- 4 Tbsp Butter
- 1 tsp Granulated Garlic
- ¼ cup Banana Peppers
- ¼ cup Pickled Red Onions
Recipe Preparation
- Portion dough into 5oz pieces and let them come to room temperature
- Dice the ham into small pieces.
- Mix ham with cheese blend, ricotta, garlic, onions, parsley, egg, and seasoning and reserve
- Press and shape each dough into an oblong almost football shape with raised edges
- Preheat oven to 400*F (204*C)
- Put 3 tablespoons of the ham and cheese blend into each portion
- Crack the remaining egg and whisk to make egg wash
- Put stuffed dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet tray
- Brush the raised edges with the egg wash
- Cook in the oven for 6-8 minutes or until dough starts to turn light golden brown
- Remove from oven and press a large oval into the cheese mixture with the back of a spoon and crack an egg into each hole
- Put back in the oven for an additional 4-5 minutes or until egg white is just set. Don’t worry they will continue to cook when removed from the oven
- While that is finishing cooking heat butter and put granulated garlic in with the butter. Reserve warm
- Brush the final product edges with the butter mixture and serve garnished with banana peppers and pickled onions
