2Tbsp Olive Oil
1/2c Red beets, canned, medium dice
1/2c Onion, julienne
2ea Garlic Cloves, minced
6oz Penne Pasta, pre-cooked
1/4c White Wine
6oz Primo Gusto Alfredo Sauce
3oz Smoked Salmon
1Tbsp Lemon Juice
1Tbsp Capers, crispy
1Tbsp Parsley
Recipe Preparation
Lightly fry capers in oil and then put onto paper towels and reserve them at room temperature for service
In a sauté pan over medium heat, sauté onions for 2-3 minutes then add garlic and beets and sauté for an additional minute
Deglaze with white wine
Add alfredo sauce, pasta, smoked salmon pieces and lemon juice
Warm pasta and sauce through, adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed
Plate and garnish with capers and parsley
