Dans un&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/annals.org\/article.aspx?articleid=1763229\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">rapport publi\u00e9 dans les Annals of Internal Medicine<\/a>&nbsp;en novembre, des chercheurs ont examin\u00e9 les habitudes alimentaires de plus de 10 000 femmes \u00e2g\u00e9es de 50 \u00e0 60 ans et ont compar\u00e9 l'\u00e9tat de sant\u00e9 de ces femmes quinze ans plus tard.<\/p>\n<p>Les r\u00e9sultats ont \u00e9t\u00e9 concluants.<\/p>\n<p>Les participants \u00e0 l'\u00e9tude qui suivaient un r\u00e9gime alimentaire sain de type m\u00e9diterran\u00e9en avaient plus de 40% de chances de vivre au-del\u00e0 de 70 ans et souffraient moins de maladies chroniques, de limitations physiques et de probl\u00e8mes de d\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rescence mentale associ\u00e9s au vieillissement.<\/p>\n<p>Les r\u00e9sultats n'ont probablement pas surpris les m\u00e9decins et les di\u00e9t\u00e9ticiens, qui recommandent ce type d'alimentation depuis des d\u00e9cennies. Mais pour le grand public qui vieillit rapidement et qui lutte contre des probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9 graves tels que l'ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 et le diab\u00e8te, c'est \u00e9norme.<\/p>\n<h2>Qu'est-ce que le r\u00e9gime m\u00e9diterran\u00e9en ?<\/h2>\n<p>Le r\u00e9gime m\u00e9diterran\u00e9en n'est pas un r\u00e9gime en soi. Il s'agit simplement d'un mode de vie. C'est la fa\u00e7on dont les gens mangent en Cr\u00e8te, dans certaines parties du Moyen-Orient, sur la c\u00f4te grecque et dans le sud de l'Italie.<\/p>\n<p>Les recettes du r\u00e9gime m\u00e9diterran\u00e9en reposent principalement sur :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Aliments d'origine v\u00e9g\u00e9tale. Les fruits, les l\u00e9gumes, les c\u00e9r\u00e9ales compl\u00e8tes, les l\u00e9gumineuses et les fruits \u00e0 coque constituent la base de la plupart des plats et occupent la majeure partie de l'assiette.<\/li>\n<li>Les graisses satur\u00e9es telles que le beurre sont remplac\u00e9es par des graisses saines ; l'huile d'olive est un aliment de base de la r\u00e9gion.<\/li>\n<li>R\u00e9duction du sodium. Dans la cuisine m\u00e9diterran\u00e9enne, les herbes et les \u00e9pices telles que la cardamome, la menthe et le sumac sont utilis\u00e9es pour aromatiser les plats \u00e0 la place du sel.<\/li>\n<li>Moins de viande rouge, donc moins de graisses satur\u00e9es. En r\u00e8gle g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, la viande rouge est consomm\u00e9e une fois par semaine au maximum. Le poisson et la volaille maigres sont consomm\u00e9s au moins deux fois par semaine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Le r\u00e9gime m\u00e9diterran\u00e9en fait des aliments d'origine v\u00e9g\u00e9tale les vedettes de chaque repas. En r\u00e8gle g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, les habitants de la r\u00e9gion m\u00e9diterran\u00e9enne consomment en moyenne six portions ou plus de fruits et l\u00e9gumes par jour.<\/p>\n<p>Les noix, les graines, les haricots, les c\u00e9r\u00e9ales compl\u00e8tes et le pain (sans beurre) font \u00e9galement partie de l'alimentation quotidienne. Et n'oubliez pas de garder du bon vin rouge en stock ; un verre ou deux sont le parfait accompagnement d'un authentique repas m\u00e9diterran\u00e9en.<\/p>\n<h2>Pourquoi la cuisine m\u00e9diterran\u00e9enne est \u00e0 la mode<\/h2>\n<p>Au cours des derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, l'alimentation saine a domin\u00e9 la conversation nationale et les restaurants se sont efforc\u00e9s de suivre le rythme des modes passag\u00e8res. Les avantages pour la sant\u00e9 sont bien document\u00e9s et r\u00e9pondent \u00e0 certains des probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9 les plus r\u00e9pandus dans le pays. Avec 80 millions de baby-boomers qui vieillissent rapidement, c'est le moment id\u00e9al pour le r\u00e9gime m\u00e9diterran\u00e9en d'attirer et de conserver l'attention du public.<\/p>\n<h2>Des restaurants populaires qui suivent la tendance m\u00e9diterran\u00e9enne<\/h2>\n<p>Franchise de restauration rapide&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.eatgarbanzo.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill<\/a>&nbsp;a ouvert ses portes en 2008 et s'est r\u00e9pandu comme une tra\u00een\u00e9e de poudre.
