En effet, des \u00e9tudes montrent que les om\u00e9ga-3 pourraient aider au contr\u00f4le des maladies suivantes :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cardiopathies<\/li>\n<li>Hypertension<\/li>\n<li>Hypercholest\u00e9rol\u00e9mie<\/li>\n<li>Polyarthrite rhumato\u00efde<\/li>\n<li>Diab\u00e8te<\/li>\n<li>D\u00e9pression&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Alzheimer et autres formes de d\u00e9mence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Comme l\u2019organisme ne produit qu\u2019une faible quantit\u00e9 d\u2019acides gras om\u00e9ga-3, nous puisons ces acides dans les v\u00e9g\u00e9taux et animaux qui composent notre alimentation. Selon l\u2019institut national de sant\u00e9 des \u00c9tats-Unis, la consommation quotidienne d\u2019om\u00e9ga-3 devrait correspondre \u00e0 2 % de l\u2019apport calorique, soit deux grammes (ou 2000 mg) d\u2019om\u00e9ga-3 pour 2000 calories ing\u00e9r\u00e9es.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Les om\u00e9ga-3 dans les aliments entiers<\/h2>\n<p>Les aliments ne sont pas tous riches en acides gras om\u00e9ga-3. Il est donc important de privil\u00e9gier les aliments entiers qui en contiennent beaucoup et de bien les int\u00e9grer \u00e0 son r\u00e9gime alimentaire. Certains poissons sont une bonne source d\u2019acide eicosapenta\u00e9no\u00efque (AEP) et d\u2019acide docosahexa\u00e9no\u00efque (ADH), deux types d\u2019om\u00e9ga-3, alors que certaines plantes renferment plut\u00f4t de l\u2019acide alpha linol\u00e9nique (ALA), une autre sorte d\u2019om\u00e9ga-3.<\/p>\n<p>Si vous voulez augmenter votre consommation d\u2019om\u00e9ga-3, tournez-vous du c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la mer! En effet, le poisson est une des plus importantes sources des acides gras essentiels que sont l\u2019ADH et l\u2019AEP. Voici ceux qui en renferment le plus :&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fl\u00e9tan&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Hareng<\/li>\n<li>Maquereau<\/li>\n<li>Hu\u00eetre<\/li>\n<li>Saumon<\/li>\n<li>Sardine<\/li>\n<li>Truite<\/li>\n<li>Thon (frais)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Exemples de sources v\u00e9g\u00e9tales d\u2019om\u00e9ga-3 :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Graines de lin et huile de lin<\/li>\n<li>Aliments \u00e0 base de soya (tofu, edamame, boisson de soya)<\/li>\n<li>Noix de Grenoble<\/li>\n<li>Huile de canola<\/li>\n<li>Chou fris\u00e9 et \u00e9pinard<\/li>\n<li>Courge<\/li>\n<li>Haricots rouges<\/li>\n<li>Brocoli<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Par ailleurs, de nombreux aliments sont maintenant enrichis en om\u00e9ga-3, par exemple, les c\u00e9r\u00e9ales, les gaufres, le jus et certains \u0153ufs.
