C\u2019est s\u00fbrement en partie d\u00fb au fait que les restaurateurs sont constamment occup\u00e9s \u00e0 g\u00e9rer des urgences, et que la mise en place de nouveaux syst\u00e8mes peut \u00eatre complexe lorsqu\u2019on est accapar\u00e9 par la pr\u00e9paration de d\u00e9jeuners, de d\u00eeners et de soupers sept jours sur sept.<\/p>\n<p>Cela dit, plusieurs virages ont eu lieu ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es. Que remarquez-vous chez nos clients?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam N. : <\/strong>Comme Mack, je constate un rythme d\u2019adoption beaucoup plus rapide qu\u2019il y a quelques ann\u00e9es. Plus la technologie est conviviale, plus elle a des chances d\u2019\u00eatre adopt\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Doug O. : Je suis d\u2019accord. Ceux qui militent en faveur de l\u2019implantation de nouvelles technologies savent qu\u2019elles font une \u00e9norme diff\u00e9rence dans la gestion des co\u00fbts et la r\u00e9ussite. De ce point de vue, quelle est la tendance? Vers quel type de technologies les restaurateurs devront-ils se tourner dans un avenir rapproch\u00e9, disons dans les trois prochaines ann\u00e9es?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam N. : <\/strong>La consommation hors site prend beaucoup d\u2019ampleur. De plus en plus de consommateurs \u00e0 court de temps veulent profiter de plats de restauration o\u00f9 et quand ils le veulent. Les exploitants doivent utiliser des outils qui permettent aux consommateurs de commander et de payer en ligne pour un service de plats \u00e0 emporter ou de livraison. \u00c0 court terme, c\u2019est l\u00e0 o\u00f9 se situe le r\u00e9el potentiel de croissance de l\u2019industrie. Doug, vous dites que moins de 10 pour cent des restaurateurs ind\u00e9pendants avec lesquels vous vous \u00eates entretenu emploient un syst\u00e8me de commande et de <a href=\"https:\/\/gfs.ca\/fr-ca\/ideas\/mobile-ordering-it-right-you\/\">payer en ligne<\/a> . Il reste donc du pain sur la planche.<\/p>\n<p>De plus, les consommateurs manifestent un d\u00e9sir croissant d\u2019avoir acc\u00e8s facilement \u00e0 de l\u2019information sur les aliments, par exemple, s\u2019ils sont sans OGM, locaux, issus de pratiques durables, etc., et les solutions technologiques le permettent. Nous devons nous attaquer au probl\u00e8me sur deux fronts : r\u00e9duire les besoins de main-d\u2019\u0153uvre et am\u00e9liorer le recrutement. Les restaurateurs nous disent qu\u2019ils ont \u00e9galement besoin d\u2019aide pour la formation et la r\u00e9tention des employ\u00e9s. Full-service restaurants and chains will need to consider return on investment before making a commitment. \u00a0Over time, the payoff could be technology that improves forecasting and reduces operational costs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Doug O. : Les restaurateurs utilisent fr\u00e9quemment le mot \u00ab int\u00e9gration \u00bb, comme dans \u00ab nous voulons que tous les syst\u00e8mes fonctionnent ensemble \u00bb. Si je n\u2019ai que 20 minutes pour d\u00eener, je trouverai sans doute des restaurants qui s\u2019adapteront \u00e0 mon horaire. Mais, la plupart des gens veulent encore prendre leur temps. Les restaurants pourraient offrir deux types de service : rapide et d\u00e9contract\u00e9 le midi, puis complet le soir. Je ne pense pas que le service humain va dispara\u00eetre.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mack T. :<\/strong> C\u2019est lorsque la technologie sert \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer plut\u00f4t qu\u2019\u00e0 remplacer le contact humain qu\u2019on observe les r\u00e9ussites les plus marqu\u00e9es. Je crois que cela continuera d\u2019\u00eatre le cas.
