Depuis que la Covid-19 nous a propuls\u00e9s dans une aire de contacts limit\u00e9s, ce risque a augment\u00e9. Mais c\u2019est un probl\u00e8me auquel les services alimentaires du milieu de la sant\u00e9 et des services communautaires peuvent s\u2019attaquer.<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019apr\u00e8s un sondage de l\u2019universit\u00e9 du Michigan, durant les premiers mois de la pand\u00e9mie, la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurekalert.org\/pub_releases\/2020-09\/mm-u-lda091120.php\">solitude a plus que doubl\u00e9<\/a> chez les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es. Malheureusement, l\u2019isolement social et la solitude ont tendance \u00e0 entra\u00eener les cons\u00e9quences suivantes, lesquelles font augmenter le risque de malnutrition :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>R\u00e9duction du plaisir de manger<\/li>\n<li>Perte d\u2019app\u00e9tit, r\u00e9duction du nombre de repas quotidiens<\/li>\n<li>Baisse de qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019alimentation, plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment de la consommation de prot\u00e9ines, de fruits et de l\u00e9gumes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Et les choses risquent d\u2019empirer d\u2019ici la fin de l\u2019ann\u00e9e. Selon <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fao.org\/3\/ca9692en\/online\/ca9692en.html\">L\u2019\u00e9tat de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire et de la nutrition dans le monde 2020,<\/a> la pand\u00e9mie pourrait entra\u00eener une hausse du nombre de personnes sous-aliment\u00e9es de l\u2019ordre de 83 \u00e0 132 millions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Ce que vous pouvez faire<\/h3>\n<p>Pour aider les a\u00een\u00e9s \u00e0 mieux manger, il faut un effort coordonn\u00e9 de tout le continuum de soins, particuli\u00e8rement lorsqu\u2019une personne hospitalis\u00e9e re\u00e7oit son cong\u00e9. Voici les cinq principaux aspects \u00e0 examiner :<\/p>\n<p><strong>Provisions. <\/strong>Une fois son cong\u00e9 obtenu, la personne doit pouvoir bien s\u2019alimenter.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Aura-t-elle assez de provisions une fois rentr\u00e9e chez elle?<\/li>\n<li>Qui fait son \u00e9picerie? A-t-elle besoin d\u2019aide?<\/li>\n<li>Qui veillera \u00e0 ce que tous les aliments p\u00e9rim\u00e9s soient jet\u00e9s?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Pr\u00e9paration des repas.<\/strong> Disposer des bons aliments n\u2019est que la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>La personne peut-elle pr\u00e9parer elle-m\u00eame ses repas?<\/li>\n<li>Si non, est-ce qu\u2019elle a pr\u00e9vu de l\u2019aide d\u2019un proche ou d\u2019un service de livraison de repas en attendant de pouvoir le faire?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Recommandations nutritionnelles. <\/strong>Ce qu\u2019une personne mange normalement n\u2019est pas n\u00e9cessairement ce qu\u2019il y a de mieux pour sa sant\u00e9 et son r\u00e9tablissement.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>La personne a-t-elle besoin d\u2019un r\u00e9gime th\u00e9rapeutique ou d\u2019aliments \u00e0 texture modifi\u00e9e?<\/li>\n<li>A-t-elle besoin de formation sur un nouveau r\u00e9gime alimentaire?<\/li>\n<li>Est-ce que ce nouveau r\u00e9gime aura un impact sur l\u2019\u00e9picerie et la pr\u00e9paration des repas?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Mat\u00e9riel adapt\u00e9.<\/strong> Les repas doivent \u00eatre app\u00e9tissants et faciles \u00e0 manger.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>La personne a-t-elle besoin d\u2019une chaise ou de vaisselle adapt\u00e9e pour boire et manger?<\/li>\n<li>Sait-elle que ces produits existent et o\u00f9 se les procurer?
