He will be succeeded by <strong>Jim Gordon<\/strong>, who will become the new chairman, and <strong>Kara Gordon-Warren<\/strong>, who will take on the role of vice chair, a position previously held by Jim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dan Gordon\u2019s retirement marks the culmination of an impressive 52-year career with the company, including 15 years as chairman of the board. Jim Gordon, who joined the company 45 years ago, has served as vice chairman of the board since 2016. Kara Gordon-Warren, a fifth-generation family member, has been with the company since 2003 and currently serves as president of U.S. Broadline Distribution. She has been a member of the board since 2016, alongside her cousin, Tommy Gordon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-about-gordon-food-service\">About Gordon Food Service<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Gordon Food Service is the largest family-operated, privately held food service distributor in North America.
